'Dangila to Eritrea (via Simen).' Created by 'Major R.E. Cheesman 1931'
Sheets numbered 1 to 4. Compass traverse covering a 330-mile route from Dangila in north-western Abyssinia north-eastwards to Adi Quala in southern Eritrea to a width of approximately 12 miles. Portrays hydrology, relief by form lines, spot heights and hachures, roads and tracks, telegraph lines, settlements, significant buildings, place names, camps and the expedition route, and includes topographical notes. A compilation notes describes the survey contribution of M. D'Abbadie.
