Covers a region of British Central Africa extending from Domira Bay on the western shore of Lake Nyasa 80 miles southwards to the boundary with Portuguese East Africa, and 100 miles westwards to the boundary of the territory under the administration of the British South Africa Company. Portrays hydrology, relief by spot heights and hachures, roads and tracks, settlements, international boundaries and place names; also depicts proposed roads and telegraphs, and Mr Sharpe's route from Domira Bay to Fort Jameson, and includes sheet compilation notes.
